Access to Cedar Breaks National Monument sits at elevations above 10,000 feet. The air is thin and sweet and the views are on a large scale. Hiking along the rim offers many vantage points and as you peer into the amphitheater, it is hard to gauge distance and size.

I feel it easy to get lost looking at the big picture and find when isolating smaller sections, the real beauty of Cedar Breaks appears.
