Before moving to Alaska, bald eagles were an uncommon encounter and usually at a distance. In Homer you are likely to see at least one every day and the more time spent outdoors, the more likely you are to see multiple birds. With this luxury, you develop a better understanding of their mindset and actions. As beautiful of a bird they are, my favorite characteristic is there voice. Hearing their call while out in nature or even walking around town is something you won't forget.
